I would consider Eddie and I in the very baby step beginnings of photography. Eddie is the man behind the camera, and for that, I cannot express even the smallest of my gratitude. Photography (or for me, finagling with a camera) is overwhelming and incredibly intimidating. I don't even know where to begin. Posing for the camera is no easy task, especially when I feel sort of awkward as is. So if standing around has proven difficult, how will I even figure out this contraption called a camera? I'm hoping to take classes somewhere. For Eddie, that's a crazy idea. He thinks that he can just pull all of this knowledge out of a book. And for Eddie, he probably can. But I am very much a "learn by doing." So the question is, why don't you just start using your camera? Because I make the same mistakes over and over. I know, that's silly. But it makes sense when I think about how I learned to sew.
First, I decided I would grab a random dress pattern and some material, and it would all just come to me, like I could summon the power of sewing from within. Ha! The next day I returned to JoAnn Fabrics (that I affectionately refer to as JoJos) for a simple dog costume. Technically, I did sew the costume without any help. Technically, it is functional. But boy oh boy, it has "home made" written all over it. I knew then, no book would help, and I immediately signed up for class. A couple months later, I feel comfortable enough to sew pretty much anything. So I don't think I'm totally crazy for wanting to take a photography class.
Just jacked off to these pics
